The milled cut in the shroud looks just like the one in THIS ARTICLE that Shoot scanned for us a while back. Comparing these two with what's in the article, I am fairly certain that Charlie Clemens was the gunsmith.
Also, I assume the "7" on your shroud and the "10"(?) on the one in my pic refers to the number of conversions done thus far.
I thought it might be a Clemens (thought or hoped, not entirely sure). Â The seller was told that the "7" was the "serial number" so that lines up with your comment. Â Thanks for the help! Â Â
