the 41 mag that I bought earler this month has an extra pin in the frame to the shroud above the barrel and centered it also has the standard pin below and to the right of the barrel where all my other DW's have it. Does anyone have this extra pin match up, is this something that happens only on the 41mags? Noticed when cleaning was trying to see if the 44 mag shroud would fit the 41 mag barrel. Let me know, and thanks

Sounds like it's a .41 thing. Maybe done intentionally, so a .44 shroud couldn't be accidentally installed?

Good morning
Well that would be a simple fix. Roll pins push in and pull out. When I get back NORTH in a few days I will have to check mine... but it looks all 41`s are double pinned .

I got my .41 yesterday and, yep, it has 2 pins and both barrels have 2 holes. Actually, it's not a bad idea. It could actually result in more accuracy because shroud alignment may be slightly more consistant.
OK, I'll post some pics tomorrow or Monday. A little patience please.
