I think Keith at DW might be able and willing to answer the question of whether the factory puts any special marks on converted cylinders, or if new cylinders would have any such markings. I don't want to inundate Keith with emails. Maybe one of our wonderful Mods who has a good relationship with him could contact him.
I remember that one of our members recently had a nonfluted 22Mag cylinder fitted to his LR frame by the factory. Maybe he can tell us if there are any markings on the new cylinder.ÂÂ
