Hi...brand new to this forum and new owner of a VBOB.  I am a Glock person but really attracted to high end 1911's.  I am having a difficult time find a solid leather owb holster.  I did get a Blade Tech but thought leather would be more appropriate....Any thoughts or recommendations on leather holster providers? Thanks

I have a DeSantis leather holster I love for my Guardian, but any good holster maker will have one to fit a 1911 commander (non-rail). Just depends on the type of carry you are looking for.

I have one by Azula (OWB) I like and also a shoulder rig (think Miami Vice) from Galco that I also like.

One thing to remember, a fully loaded VBob is going to be substantially heavier than your Glocks - so you need a good and strong belt!
That being said, I use a Desantis Yaqui Paddle holster for my 1911's. It will work with nearly any size model, as it is not barrel length specific.
