On the gun with the shroud on, or off and just the barrel?. Any comments on how consistent the barrels and cylinder throats are?

The revolver dimensions should be largest at the cylinder throat and smallest in the bore. Either slug the cylinder throat or invest in a minus pin gauge set. I disassemble and slug the barrels but that's personal preference. When I size the cast boolet, I usually run .001-.002 over the cylinder throat size. Â
If you have a bore dimension greater than the cylinder throat (not including the forcing cone), you'll have leading issues and affects on accuracy. Easy to correct- have the throat reamed.Â
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
