OfflineI purchased a new rubber Hogue monogrip for my DW 44 and I’m very disappointed. The hole for the grip screw wasn’t even close to the center of the round hole for the tang. I tried drilling the hole straighter but the rubber doesn’t drill cleanly with a twist drill and I eventually ruined it. Never was able to get the grip screw started.
I like the Hogue on my 15-2 and would like to use the same style on the 44 because it gives great support when shooting with the long heavy barrels. Any suggestions out there on what to do to get this done?
