Does Dan Wesson still work on large frame 44s. I got skinned on this one, it will bind up when loaded. It will carry up almost 100% of the time empty. Looks like the barrel was loctited. Would like some help on where to send it to or who to contact for help. Thanks for any help.

Bob I just got my DW back. Plan on about 4 weeks for them to do the work. My issue was a stuck barrel. They kept me informed every week as to where they were with my gun. They did a great job all the way around.

Yup definitely send it to Bob. I also sent mine in for a cylinder replacement along with a quick lookover.

Wow everyone was jumping on the unfluted cylinder bandwagon! cool

Rightfully so as there weren’t many left. Aside from myself, Scott, and DA, I know of one other guy who just sent his in to Bob for the unfluted cylinder installation.

What’s everyone doing with their old fluted cylinders? I just have mine on my reloading/gun bench as a nice decor.

DW is out of many blue parts for small frames and probably for large frame blue and stainless. I don't think they are going to manufacture them again. I suppose you could use stainless parts on blue small frame guns but the don't make any of the large frame or supermags anymore.
