Hi everyone,
Just would like to show you my new grips from DW 715-2
Carved from solid piece of beautiful Amboyna burl, which I really like to use in knife handles.
Now it fits like a glove

That grip is amazing and that piece of wood is stunning. I wish I had the talent for doing that kind of thing.

Two evenings, using mostly Dremel with sanding sleeve, manual sanding, polishing.
After that was test on the range 
, adjusting, sanding againg and refinishing.ÂÂ

Sorry, was away for a week...
It is simple:
I would say the cost of just highest grade materials ( including damascus blade, wood block and bronze or nickel-silver) will be around $140-160, plus my work. For the knife like this one it is around 25-30 hours to finish. Say, at the lowest rate like $10/hour, and you have a number, lower I would not go.
