the only load data I’ve been able to find for 225 gr bullets is for Barnes all copper bullets with Win 296, H4227 and Lil’Gun. Anyone have any experience with the 225 FTX?  I have a 7445 and an Encore pistol (15” barrel) I’d like to load for. Thanks.

Reloading data for similar weighted projectiles will work.  Just pay attention to OAL and you'll be fine.  Here's a bit more from the DWF Reloading section

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

I agree, bullet weight and AOL are the big things to watch and then bullet diameter. I have used 1680 powder with lighter bullets like the 225 and have had good results.

Recently asked Hornady same question-Hornady reload manual has loads for 445 sm.

"I am getting my encore 44 Mag rechambered to 445 super mag. I would like to eventually use 225 FTX or 265 FTX if possible. Will that work? And what loads should I follow? I have the 9th edition of Hornady manual and I plan to use 1680 powder. thanks for your
help. John"

John, With the Encore chamber you could very likely work up loads with both of these projectiles. We do not have specific data to these bullets in this cartridge however you could work this up from our 240 gr. XTP data and the 265 gr. FP data. Thanks

Note the powders in the Hornady manual. They list Accurate 1680. I have used this in my 357 max and 414 sm encores with good paper results.
