OfflineHi!
I am trying to get the stuff together to handload rounds for my .445. One of the potential sources for bullets I investigated was Garrett Cartridges. Their bullets seem very high quality, and I thought maybe they would sell me some bullets alone, without the rest of the cartridge. No deal. So I asked if they could recommend a source of high quality bullets, and what follows was their response. What do you folks think about these assertions?
Â
Hi Jerry,
We hand-cast our own bullets in-shop quite
simply because there are no commercially cast bullets that we trust for
use against big game. Â If there were commercially cast bullets that met
our quality standards, we would by them in a heart-beat and save
ourselves all the time and labor required to hand-cast our own. Â If you
do an internet search for cast bullets you will find some, but I cannot
recommend any as I don't find them to be satisfactory. Â I'd sell you
some if I could, but we are kept very busy casting enough bullets to
satisfy the demand for our Hammerhead Ammo. Â Sorry I can't be of more
help. Â Thanks for your interest!
Best
regards, Randy Garrett
