It depends on where you are, what you're doing & which model with what barrel length.
The questions a bit vague & so hard to answer.
Sometimes it in a case with its spare barrel & accessories.
Sometimes with the 4" BBl it's in a a paddle holster. Our range's firing point is 20 feet of a public road so I don't leave it on the bench when I mark targets.
With the 6" BBL its a belt holster.
If I'm in the wilds then its a ballistic nylon one on a pack strap & I use a lanyard as well.

I have 2.
A nylon "Uncle Mikes" for rough country use & an ex police style basket weave, Bianchi #58 H W" for on the range when I dont want to leave it on the bench when I'm not there.
Both are advertised for use with the Ruger GP100. In practice I've found that most for the S&W 686 or Ruger GP 100 are a good choice.
Do you have a V-H barrel?
If so the square shape of the DW lug will need a little fitting of the leather to be a good fit.

Would you carry your DW revolver in a holster or do you leave it in the box or case? Just curious as to what everyone else does. If you do carry it in a holster what holster fits?
My nicest DW 15-2 with 4,6 & 8" barrels resides in the safe in a gun rug or sock in between range trips.

I use a bianchi cyclone 111 model with 6" barrel, but do not store it in it, and no matter what holster you use, the more you draw, the more wear marks will appear on gun.
