Anybody have any background/development/production knowledge?  It's a large frame (not supermag) .357 magnum.  The owner was telling me the cartridge was developed to utilize the full length (and pressure) of the cylinder.  Starline currently has 360 brass in stock.  He said there were about 10 or so made.  Barrels are marked .357 magnum  (I think he had two bbls).

His is stainless, and shows use (90%)... asking $2K.  I think it's appropriately priced, really is "rare" so I'm on the fence.

Curious if anybody has personal experience with those guns.  Thanks.

I think you are saying  some one you know has a large frame stainless frame chambered in 357 caliber that has two barrel assemblies marked 357 Magnum. Hmmm. Sounds like a 360 but the shrouds should be marked as such. Maybe near the muzzle. Not sure how many were made but it would be called a model 7360. If you decide not to buy it please PM me. They are rare.

Some of these were marked 360 or 7360 respectively and some were marked 357++ as well.  They are not all marked equally.  Make sure you know what you are getting.  I have shot a 360.  Nice round.

Update; the gun was sold last month.

It had belonged to man who worked as a technical advisor to Bob Serva for a couple years.  He passed away last year.  A friend of his was selling it for his widow.  Someone got a smoking deal: that gun and a DW in 45 COLT for $1600.

I knew the man whom it belonged.  He was a good guy.  He sold me the 1st DW 1911 in the area.  He sold me a few interesting collectable DW items, like frame castings.

A great deal is a huge understatment, that was gtdw on steroids!  wow The 45 colt would have fetched that much on GB easily, let alone the 360.  WOW, sorry you didn't land them since you knew the man that had them.
