I recently acquired this beautiful 15-2 in a very dark blued Palmer factory finish, with a 3" fixed barrel and heavy shroud. S/N puts the manufacture date at 1992.
Can anyone else add to this information ?

Nice fixed barrel. Â I had one just like it in stainless. Â The blued guns in fixed barrel configuration seem a bit less common than the stainless FB's. Â Nice score!
How's it shoot?  Great if I had to guess

Man, it is so sweet, you'd think it was a 6" not a 3" ... like I said in my Intro; "after shooting it, I hounded him until he relented and sold it to me" !

Congrats on landing that one, it looks great! The bluing finish on these guns is really, really nice. The Palmer plant really did an awesome job!

Yes they did. Although they seem to fewer made, so finding one is tough. A member here recently scored one, but now I have forgotten who.

I have 714 palmer also with a 2.5" Â sweet shooter! Â Â 
middle one is the 714 FB, Lil Dan on the far right 744 on the far left!  oh the top photo  just some eye candy  of pork! Those are another story! Â
