Took my latest 15-2 out for the first time. Sure wish I had a 4" nickel barrel. The gun is much tighter than my other 15-2's took off the side plate and the whole inside is plated and jeweled must have been a special order wow it is so smooth to shoot. Very good purchase.factorynickel15-2.jpgImage Enlarger

Keep your eyes open the other barrels may just show up!   Next time you have the side plate off indulge us with some inner pictures!   I have a 14-2 nickle not nearly in as nice of shape!  Great looking Dan!

I think its a pretty early 15-2 it came out of a pac the fellow sold the other 3 barrels and I didnt buy them cause I was under the impression he was going to keep the gun and 2" barrel a couple months later he decided to sell the gun. Real shame The barrels went for 120 to 158 and 180. Im thinking of sending 3 of my blued barrels to Fords custom gun refinishing in Florida have any of you used them before?

Eyes Bugged Out!  Man that is nice!  drool  I've been thinking about doing that to one of mine for a while.  Got to go clean off the keyboard now.

Like this? (but mine is not Factory, I refinished a 15-2 several years ago)

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Mine was done locally, unfortunately the company that my gunsmith sent it to for finishing (USFA) is no longer doing that kind of work.

If I were doing this again, I would use Ford's, based solely on internet reputation and feedback. I do not know anyone with personal experience with them, but I would trust them to do work for me.

Ford's has a great reputation - nothing but good things are said about them in various gun board. The examples on their web site are outstanding. They would be my go-to shop.
