Glad your son is ok. And I hope you do not loose faith in Smith and Wesson, they are one of the finest gun makers in the world, always have been, after all, that is where Dan came from. And as far as .22s go, they have killed more people over the years than any other gun. A firecracker won't hurt you unless you close your hand around one, then you're gonna loose a finger or two.
