My brother made this cannon...he likes golf, so guess what he shoots outta it..lol He brought it down from Mi. on his vacation over the 4th. Im loading it with 360 grs Pyrodex with a patched golfball...makes for hellof a BOOM ! Gota be carefull as golfball will go outta sight.
Only downside is this sucker weighs 38#...that load is 360 grs pyrodex by volume

I'll bet I could still 7 out of 10 into the water/sand/rough/out of bounds, even with that one.
Since it weighs 38#, does that make it a "38 Iron"?

I have a few cannons--360 seems a bit high to lanch a golf ball, but I use Fg or FFg in lower loads--real stuff works MUCH better in the cannon--I've pulled the covers off a few with lower loads than that.
I have a mortar that I can shoot them near straight up with--fun to watch for the little dot to re-appear.
