I'm looking for a compact 1911, but having trouble deciding which one. Looking for suggestions.

Seriously, Colt Defenders are pretty well regarded, although there is a recall out on a short s/n run. Last I knew, Newington Gun Exchange had 2 used ones. A lot depends on your price range.
