The black para coated with gold is stock, as it will be a carry gun, The night sights will be on it soon, and then it will be refinished.

The stainless is a custom tune by superdan. It has Wilson Combat Bullet Proof parts for all it's mechanics, with a Nighthawk Customs trigger and Wolf Springs. It will be fitted with a oversize bushing and a adjustable rear, another 500 rounds or so to break it in, and off to the sandblaster and polisher for it's final finish.

Both of these guns will group around 1 inch. I have never seen a 1911 that shoots like a GI Expert for the price.  But that said I would get MIM parts out of it, as little quirks do pop up.  Grip safety failure, Slide safety failure: (just gets sloppy hardly no click). They will function for thousands of rounds, and are a real tack driver for 500 to 600 bucks.

Very nice occasion   Now that Para has just been purchased by the

Freedom Group ( Remington, Marlin, Bushmaster, H&R ect..) wonder what

direction they will head in being how they will be competing against

the Remington R1's new line.

Well I hope they will eliminate a few MIM parts to give themselves a leg up, I know a few dollars more and have a 1911 that will give you decade of shooting vs a few years is worth it to them and their customers.
