I have been wanting a Blaser for years and never bought one....until last week.  Found a NIB 2014 R8 Professional Package in 300 WM (one of my favorites) for about what the rifle alone normally sells for.  Dad and I were cruising the local shops in Omaha and Lincoln for DWs (or whatever) and since I couldn't find a 22M, 722M, 732-20, or 709 to help fill the collection, I figured why not?  Not looking forward to Leshia opening the cc bill..

Whoa! That thing is killer! wowGreat caliber. That's a great link. Certainly appears to be well designed. I will certainly be looking forward to range report on that bad boy.

To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:

if you find one...what's your plan?

Dang,  reminds me of these one revolvers that you can change the barrels around on!    Nice score now so you don't have any problems you can drop it off on the way out of town!

Sorry Dave- Already crossed back into LA...  Just waiting on some brass to show up and I'll get some handloads ready.  I only have 150 gr, 30 caliber, bullets so I'll need to get some heavier ones to see what it likes the best.

I shot a buddy's Blaser F3 in a Sporting Clay match about 8 years ago and stumbled onto the rifles back then.  Ever since, I've had the itch, just not the scratch.  Recently, the VA came through (after a year) with a determination on my disability compensation and so... I put some of the back pay to good use.
