Do you have any thoughts about why the Democratic National Committee of all groups would publish such a thing? It seems so out of character that I just don't know what is happening within that group.

I agree, it's out of character, but I'm elated that someone in their camp has the fortitude to finally stand up & say something about it!
Frankly, it’s hard to imagine why a
President of the United States would refuse to produce something as
common and necessary to legitimacy in public affairs as a birth
certificate. And it’s hard to fathom why anyone would believe that
this refusal to produce and to hire top law firms to keep that
document and others out of the eyes of the courts and the American
people would do anything but throw fuel on the fires of suspicion.
Frankly, I AGREE!
Man, I have no idea how he stands on other issues, but today this Steve Ferrell guy is awesome.

I understand the frustration with this issue. The reality is that no clear answer to this question will ever undo the damage that has been done by a President elected based not on ability, accomplishment, or integrity, but on popularity and an overwhelming liberal media onslaught.
The focus needs to be on finding the right next President. That may or may not be in time for the next election. That may or not be from the established two party system. That may or may not be the person that I want as our next President.
It desperately needs to be the right person, one more committed to America than to partisan political agendas, someone who will tell us what they will do, and then do it.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I agree with Steve on this matter..significant damage has already been done and, based on Obama's State of the Union speech last night, the damage likely will continue. I'm coming to the sad conclusion that we as Americans overall lack proper representation from both parties. (The system is just plain corrupt.) However, the emergence of the Tea Party movement has been a refreshing change that has re-energized my hope and faith in this great Nation.
Right now, at the rate of speed that Obama is moving to the center and, considering that it is estimated that Obama will have amassed up to $1 billion in his 2012 campaign war chest, I do not yet see any candidates that I believe can beat Obama in 2012, especially if the economy begins to show some strength by the next general election. Let us hope that the candidate Steve refers to does emerge in time to derail Obama and his administration.

i'm a little surprised that the dnc would mention this but i guess that it's maybe because nobama isn't liberal enough for them and they would prefer a more left leaning candidate, as if that's even possible.
hopefully he and his minions won't be able to delude the public and steal another election like they did the 1st time around.

Honestly, I don't much care any longer if we ever see the birth certificate. The subject has been pushed aside & ignored this long, I really doubt any of us will ever know the truth...or our grandkids, either. It will go down through history similar to the 3rd man on the grassy knoll stories. It was nice though, to actually hear someone from the DNC camp at least acknowledge it as he did.
I'm much more worried about the everyday damage being done while 'ol Barry is in office. Will we ever get someone in there again who will work to straighten out this mess & not just be content to add to it?
