You've got to take 15 seconds and do this

and then pass it on.

CBS is

letting you Rate the President

First, I can't believe CBS is actually

doing this. Second, that they're brave and honest enough to actually show the

ongoing polling results. Here is your chance.  Everyone should get a shot at

this. Takes all of fifteen seconds and that is if you take a look at the

results.

Take the poll yourself and when you submit your grading of how

he is handling the top issues, a second page will come up showing you the

current results of how America is voting. Remember, this ain't Fox doing this.

This is mostly people who watch CBS.

DO THIS

and pass it on!

Please vote and pass it on.

Interresting. I am not really a poll kinda person (with regards to politics). I guess I really don't care how the majority votes. I never seem to vote with them anyway. For instance this poll only shows:

people that have computers

people that visit the CBS website

people that had enough energy or emotion towards the poll to even put forth the effort

Once your down to that small small group... what does the poll indicate... not much.

I can't help but feel I have seen this all before... not just a "smidgen" of dejavu.. but a "holy cow they fell for it again" what a bunch dumb-(insert inflamtory remark). As for me, I have not voted for either of the main parties since my man Regan.  Currently, I have two favorite web sites... this being the main one. The other is inflation.us ( no www, no com). While they lean to the right... they are quick to point out that both of the major parties have created this situation... no need to pick on over the other.

I keep threating my wife that when I retire might enter local politics. The problem is I am an honest person... and really politics does not seem a good place for an honest person. So probably I will just moan about the lack of good character the politics seem to require/attract.

I agree. However, part of this nation's salvation may rely on enough honest people finally step up and run for office. I would (and do) vote for a person with honest & good intentions for our country at heart! Proud To Be An American

BTW, I also agree that both parties have gotten us to where we are today. We as a nation, need to pull ourselves out of this quagmire & vote in people with honorable intentions. I sure wish I was in Washington DC this weekend, to attend Glenn Beck's 8-28 project with thousands of other like minded people.

I think its great to run for office, but look out...friend of mine was running for US senate this year. He had a great message...other canidate on the primary ticket decided it was time to take him out. Filled a lawsuit challenging the signatures my friend got to get on the ballot. Long story made short, it was a matter of who had the money to fight it, and my friend didn't. I was one of the volunteers to help prove their signatures were valid by going over the paper work in the lawsuit. I was in total awe of the amount of work they did in going over every signature to file the lawsuit. I think I had like 3 pages out of 500 or so, and I spent hours and hours looking up voter records and comparing them. It was ridiculous, for example, because "Peter" signed on the petition his name "Pete" they said it should be struck off. Just the sheer amount of information that had to be gone over, plus the deadline for the trial, they lost the lawsuit and got taken off the ballot. Real shame.

It was a really interesting experience from what I have heard, going into forums as an unknown guy and coming out people cheering you on. Other canidates not answering calls for them to be debated. Even when he was taken off the ballot, there was one guy at the polls that when asked about him said that he voted for him as a write in cause he really liked his message. Laugh
