10 day waiting here in ca...was 15 as I recall.....any one know if there is a ported vh4" barrel...went on line to DW/CZ-usa had new barrels but didn't find any that were compensated or ported....any thoughts on who makes them or is sending barrels away to magnaport the best option?

All of my 744 shrouds are ported. All of my barrels are solid except one 6 inch. The 44's were all shipped with ported shrouds but if you wanted the ported barrels you had to special order them specially.
One thing to remember; no lead bullets through ported barrels. Use only jacketed bullets and remove the shroud and clean the ported area. Otherwise you will effectively weld the shroud to the barrel.
DW does not currently sell ported barrels, however they do sell compensated barrel assemblies.

Do your ported shrouds help with the precevied recoil? Thanks for the list saw the prices.. wtb shrouded vh4" used lol...What would be the actual barrel lenth of the 4"
barrel with out the ported shroud,3"? and the 4" shroud over that.
I think I just want the porting on the barrels or shrouds that are undr 6" the longer barrels recoil is no problem..thanks for the info ....my ear's are always wide open for your guys input....
