Stumbled onto this forum and can't believe Dean didn't tell be about it before...maybe he did.

Serving in the US Army for over 25years now and currently stationed at Ft. Polk, LA with the 10th Mountain Division (don't ask)...

I've been a member on the specialtypistols forum for some time now, with the same username.

Best Regards to all.

Ron

Thanks for the welcome,  I enjoy serving for people like you who can appreciate it.

I currently own 3 DWs. 722-V, 715-V, 744-VH; all Monson plant guns.  I'm frustrated with the prices of DWs right now, so until things settle a bit in the market, that's probably all I'll have unless something comes along- we'll see.  The auctions tend to be on the pricey side, especially after adding FFL and Shipping/ Insurance fees.  The Gun Shows here in the deep south rarely have DW parts, let alone complete guns, and if you can find something- the rust monster has usually visited already.

I've already placed a WTB posting....

Best Regards, Ron

Thanks all, those three are all I have for now.  I'd like to stay w/ the Monson Mass, SS theme, but who knows...

You laugh, but unknown to many people, Louisiana does indeed have mountains!  Three in fact:

Driskill Mt. is the highest with an elevation over 500 feet!!!!! (nose bleed).

Jordan Mt. over 470' and Bogue Mt. over 350'

I've won more than a few bar bets with that fact- feel free to use it. Smile

Oh yea, I forgot:  Walker Tower is a Mountain “Pillar” on Ft. Polk over 360' and yes, I've climbed it!

Best Regards,

Ron
