OfflineWell it has been about three years since I have visited the forum.  I have sold all of my Dan  Wessons with the exception of a Model 15 H, with 8" and 2" barrels....I got into "money pits" for a while, I had to British cars and not only was it time consuming but very expensive and frustrating.  For the past year I have been buying trading and swapping Smiths and Wessons.  However there is a pawn shop I go in occasionally and was there yesterday; They had a Model 741 VH 6" barrel in pretty good condition and had come down on the price.  When I looked at it six months ago it was $900 and I thought that was way too high.  For Black Friday they lowered it to $750 and I traded 2 Smith model 10s that I did not have too much in and $211.  I do my own reloading but do not have dies, brass or bullets for it.  The only issue with the gun is the rear sight is loose.  I think that is held in with that small pin?  has anyone taken one off to see ?  In research the 741 I could not/have not found much information on it.  On FB the "fans of Dan Wesson site" I was told it was somewhat rare.  That is always a good feeling.
