Welcome to the forum from a new subscriber myself. I love guns and shooting. Sold my last wheel gun a couple weeks ago and began experiencing "withdrawals", so I offered to buy my friend's set of two DWs, a 357 and 44 mag. Can't wait to get them.

I'm not inclined to take either of mine apart. There seem to be a great number of small parts that might be difficult to return to their respective places. Besides, there's nothing worse looking, in my opinion, than a gun with buggered up screw slots. As long as there's no indication that something isn't working quite right, I won't take the side plates off.
