Hi Folks,
New member after just purchasing this 22M, Monson, SN# B00104X in beautiful condition from a favorite local pawn shop here in southern Maine. Found a lot of helpful info on it here already - thank you for that. Came with the 3 barrels you see - an 8", a 10", and another 10". But as you can see, one 10" is not like the others! Would love to trade the SS barrel for a more suitable color for this gun or a SS for my other DW - a CZ made 715 which would love a 10" or longer barrel. Anyway thanks for being there!

Joe, I can't see the frame roll marks on my phone. If it is Monson made, the 8"VH BA is the appropriate shroud. Again, my phone is not clear but the blue 10" has a one line roll mark so it is either Palmer, EWK, or if laser etched it is Norwich made. All will work but if you are looking for authenticity of originality the shroud roll mark should be correct. To many folks it is not important.
I too love the 10" Barrels, whether 357 or 22. I don't think they made longer barrels, 12" or 15", in 22 LR or Mag. I may be wrong but I haven't seen any. A 357 shroud will work but getting a longer 22 barrel would probably only be possible as a special order from EWK. The 10" BAs marked 22 mag are very scarce. Drive a hard bargain.
