Hi everyone i actively compete in IPSC competitions in the Philippines and this will be my first time to join the revolver division. I'll be inheriting and DW 14-2 soon & i'm thinking of upgrading parts for competition purposes. I'll be posting questions in appropriate sections of this forum & hope to get help from the DW community. Thanks in advance

IPSC is so over-run with semis over here, its hard to imagine scraping up enough of us revo fans to support a shoot, I hope it does though. I think the big thing that got me was 8-shot smiths shooting 38-super ( with moon clips of course). Hard to compete against that. ICORE seemed more 6-shot friendly.
Congratz on the inheritance, The DW is a great shooter. They are easy to work on, so far I have polished the internals on 3 of my 4 15-2's to good effect. I have not changed out any springs though. EWK has a replacement "small parts kit" that is a good tune up. What length barrel will you shoot in competition?

@pinetor - i'm thinking of the 4" EH of EWK, for sure the weight will help control the recoil. I'm not sure though if IPSC rules will allow it but it looks really nice
