Hello All,
        I just bought my first Dan Wesson today. I drove 4 hours one way to take a look(drool) at and buy a Blued Dan Wesson in 45 Colt. It wears 8 inch/Vented Rib/Full Lug Barrel. Unfortunately no box or tools. The only bad part is I had to have it shipped to my FFL. I'm looking forward to gathering knowledge here on my new acquisition. Thanks. Boats Â

You have acquired one of the most sought after models. You are a very lucky fellow. Of course, it is better to be lucky than good. I am sure you are good too though. Although being good won't find you a 45. DW 45 can handle Big Boar loads equal to stout 44 mag. The ones that say Ruger only. It is MHO that Dans are tougher than Rugers.Â
