My name is Hal, and I am a fanatic about all things Upstate NY... so naturally, when one of the most sought after, respected and beautiful pistol lines in the world is produced less than an hour from my house, I had to get one.

I've wanted a DW for years, had been holding out for the new revolver when it came out in the full kit, but when Davidson's had their sale, my LGS (Boltworks in Dryden) called me and said "this is a once in a lifetime chance for you."

I had $0 to my name, but I wanted a DW more than anything, so I traded in to them:

1. Beautiful Walther PPK/S with Hogue wooden grips

2. FN FNS-9 in nearly new condition

3. A flawless Ithaca 37 Deer Slayer Police Special with extended mag tube

4. A nice Mossberg .410 pump.

5. 7 boxes of brand new 9mm ammo.

I now have a fantastically beautiful VBob in stainless.Â (Bit of a warranty issue happening but I am sure it will get resolved)

Glad to be here and glad to see DW making such quality handguns in the era of corner-cutting.
