M y first Dan Wesson. Long time Ruger and Smith hand gunner. 41 magnum. Dealer and I could not find a model number . Any help appreciated. Also, any suggesti9ns on scope mount appreciated.

Also, it can with a 4” barrel and barrel tool. Not fired much. Any thoughts on value appreciated. Paid. $650 value wise with trades . But shot a few now, and seems to shoot great. Used to shoot 41 mags but not in quite some time. Suggestions on factoryammo that you have used in these appreciated.

Model 41. Stainless would be 741. If chambered in 44 mag it would be a model 44. Very simple.
Largeframe guns are recommended to use drill and tap. Burris mounts and rings are the norm. Best to have a separate barrel assembly or just the shroud devoted to the scope. You can use a 44 mag shroud. 41 mag marked shrouds or BAs are not as common.

$700 on the 41 and another $250-300 on the extra barrel assembly.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
