Hello folks!  My Dan Wesson knowledge was pretty limited until just recently.  I knew they existed and had heard of the "pistol pack" offered by them BUT my life changed when I came across a Dan Wesson Alaskan model in .445 Super Magnum... Wow!  I lost the auctionmad

Anyways, to make a long story short, I now own two Dan Wessons.  I have a stainless .445 Supermag & a stainless .460 Rowland.  I love the big bores and these two calibers fit right into my collection of double action revolvers.

I look forward to meeting you all here and learning more about these great revolvers!

Some guys start at the bottom with small calibers & work their way up, it sounds like you are starting at the top & working down.laugh Nothing wrong with that.

dwf-welcome aboard!

Hi neighbor and welcome to DWF. Love the pics you dropped on my first post, we’re so lucky to be living in Gods Country. Those are some Big Boys you have. I think the 44 mag will be as big as I can handle. Getting ready to update my first post.

Thanks for having me!  I literally spent several hours last night/this morning looking through many of the great revolver posts and photos.  Looks like I'm at the bottom of a long list of folks hoping to luck into a Dan Wesson .32-20range-time

Mt Man I just use my 4 inch Taurus Tracker for woods carry.  It's light, accurate and 100% reliable (I must've got a good one lol).  I own plenty of Raging Bulls, a .460 & .500 S&W plus 2 sweet Dan Wessons but they are all way to big to be packing on my trips.

PS - lonwolf pics will be forth coming.  I need to take some nice ones 'cause those two Dan Wessons deserve the spotlight.worship
