Hello group.  My name is Adam

 I'm from Ontario Canada.

I need help with my recently acquired Dan wesson 357 model 15.  It came with a 4 inch barrel.  Has a couple small rust spots. But only surface rust. Was able to remove them and didn't leave much for marks.  Overall i would say the gun is in fair to good condition.  Question is.  What is the value of this gun??  Thanks in advance Adam20171128_204010-1.jpgImage Enlarger

Not sure the value of the gun some pictures would help.  If you have any more rust or surface issues you might want to try Mr. Clean Magic Eraser as it does not damage finishes.  It is just a thought, add some pictures if you can.

There is an ejector star scratch on the frame as previous owner did not hold cylinder open with their thumb.  Zebra Wood grips worth 150.00 by themselves so I would put value between 400.00-575.00 at current goings on in Gun Broker.  Someone may want to chime in on this.

Welcome Adam!

Your Dan would likely bring $450 - $550 in my neck of the woods.

Thanks for your input guys.  That's about what I was thinking as well.   Does anyone know the best place to get other barrels and the tool to change them??

The barrel tool can be purchased at EWK Arms link is on side of forum.  CZ still makes complete barrel assemblies up to 10" but they are laser etched.  If you want period right barrels E-Bay is the place to go average pricing is between 200-300 for the 357's.  E-Bay also sells period correct plastic barrel wrenches but they break so EWK Arms is the best bet.  Good luck in your search.
