OfflineWelcome to the forum from PA! We appreciate all Dan Wesson's, 1911's included. If you need quick answers to your double firing issue, try the Dan Wesson sub forum on the 1911forum.com. Also, an email to the factory, specifically Kieth Lawton, the lead gunsmith, factory manager etc. would be a good idea. They are very good about answering customer questions and can do smithing work on your gun if you send it back to them. IMO the factory is where I would send any Dan I was having an issue with. Many times they will do the work under warranty.
Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

OfflineWelcome to the forum. Always nice to see a new TX member. Saw your post in the 1911 forum and looks like they gave you some good advice to begin troubleshooting your problem.
