Welcome to the forum from PA! Â We appreciate all Dan Wesson's, 1911's included. Â If you need quick answers to your double firing issue, try the Dan Wesson sub forum on the 1911forum.com. Â Also, an email to the factory, specifically Kieth Lawton, the lead gunsmith, factory manager etc. Â would be a good idea. Â They are very good about answering customer questions and can do smithing work on your gun if you send it back to them. Â IMO the factory is where I would send any Dan I was having an issue with. Â Many times they will do the work under warranty.
