Hi Everybody:

Hello from New York. I'm glad to find a forum for Dan Wesson Firearms.

Just bought my first revolver and am very excited to get it out to the range! Its a 715 model and I looked up the serial number and I think it was manufactured in Monson, Ma. in around 1991 or 1992.

Welcome to the Forum, nice looking 715, and with a Pachmayr Gripper, that's a nice add-on.

Take so advice from one who learned the hard way: The plastic DW barrel wrench is crap and is a disaster waiting to happen. Use it very carefully, AND BUY AN EWK BARREL WRENCH!

(I know the CAPS can be considered rude, but this is important)

That's a nice looking Dan. My favorite is my stainless 15-2.

Thanks for the picture.

You're going to love it. I have a 715 with a couple of LB custom grips and 2.5 and 6 inch barrel. A lot of guys don't like shooting the 2.5, but I love it! I was surprised how accurate it was for such a shortie. The 6" is just an outright tack driver. You might want to check LB Custom grips over there ---->. Also the EWK fiber optic front sight is really amazing.
