Hi everyone

I just got my first Dan Wesson revolver and and hoping to find out more about it, its a model 445 made at the Palmer Mass plant.
Im from Canada and have never seen another one of these for sale so I bought it because I wanted to get something cool and unique.

You can shoot 44 SPL, 44 Mag, and 445 Maximum Ammo in your 445. It is a very nice revolver and there is the history of them on this forum under large frame Super Mag Revolvers. ÂÂ

Yes, you have a 445 Super Mag a great revolver I have a 7445 which is the stainless version with compensated barrels. Put up a picture by adding using the Attachment button.

I believe that only the model 40 & 740 SuperMag .357 cartridges were called Maximum. The .414 and .445 were called SuperMag cartridges. It is a fantastic origin and history.

I use my iPhone. 1st I take a pic then use the PAPER CLIP icon below to initiate the upload process.  
2nd, click the +Add Files
3rd, choose where to get the pic from…I always go to photo library.
4th, choose all the pics to add.
5th, click +Start Upload.
ÂÂ
It takes a little while, but eventually the pics end up in your new posting.  You can edit the text after pics have been added.ÂÂ
Lastly, click on the Save (Disk icon) to post.

Thanks, I cant wait to get ammo for it and get to the range, I will need to get the reloading components I need to make up 445 Supermag. I have reloading equipment already its just adding another caliber to the list of what I need.

That's the same procedure to post pics as I do on my PC. It's not as easy as some of the other forums where you click on the clip and double left click the pic you want and it uploads automatically.
