I just purchased my first Dan Wesson pistol it is a model w12 with a 4 inch barrel it is an early model with the ex[posed barrel nut. I love the looks and feel of the gun and the way it fits in my hand. It shoots like a dream it is the most accurate revolver i have. I need to locate a barrel wrench for it and am interested in purchasing a longer barrel does anybody know where i might find these things?

First welcome to the place that is all about Dan Wessons.
An external nut wrench as well as barrels will pop up on gunbroker from time to time but I believe a standard 12 point 5/8 wrench fits. Good luck

Welcome to DWF! Barrel assemblies for the 12 are a little harder to find, just keep watching Gun Broker and be ready to jump on one when it comes up.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
