New to the forum. I've had two DWs since about 1983. I have a 15-2 .22 with 6 inch reg barrel and 15-2 .357 with 6 inch heavy barrel. They are great guns and I still love to shoot them.
Are their semi-s as god as their pistols are - anyone?

Welcome to the forum. In answer to your question, if you look around here on the forum you will find a lot of praise for the Dan Wesson 1911s. They have a solid reputation of being very fine well made pistols. Quite a few members here own one or several, so we may be biased

DW 1911's have the well deserved reputation of being among the very best production 1911 values you will find. Mine is an earlier pre-CZ PM1-S that is hands down the most accurate and solid centerfire pistol I have ever owned.
I've often wondered what an innovator like Daniel B. Wesson would have done in the 1911 arena.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
