OfflineFrist, an apology for joining the forum earlier this week and NOT making my first post here. I jumped right into the Revolver board to ask a couple of questions about the 44 revolver I was buying.
The above 44 is my first Dan Wesson firearm. I have wanted one for a while, but never actually jumped on one. I was at one point a "S&W Collector", but do not really actively pursue them any more. I'd say I'm more of an "accumulator" than a collector as I have no focus. I just buy what I find interesting. I have revolvers from S&W, Colt, Ruger and Italian single actions (and Taurus, if I must fully confess). Have had a C&R collector's FFL for more than 20 years as I love old guns and surplus.Â
I started shooting .22 when I was about 10 or 11, but really started getting into guns full bore around 15 or 16. Bought my first real handgun by "dad proxy" at 16--a Taurus PT-92F. It is still my bedside gun. Since then my "accumulation" has grown to include a little bit of everything short of full auto (not legal in Washington, or I would probably do that too).
Thanks for ignoring my "slip" by posting first in the Revolver board and welcoming me there!
