Hi everyone! I found this forum today while researching my purchase from yesterday. I bought my first Dan Wesson as a .357 pistol pac in the mid 1970's, I think in '77. I bought my .44 pistol pac a couple of years later. And the plan was to get a pistol pac in .22LR back then as well, but economics interveined (became unemployed). Fast forward to early April of this year (2018) and I found a .22 LR to be sold at auction with an extra barrel ass'y. I had high bid and it came home with me. I've spent a few hours here reading up on the history of Dan Wesson's interesting past, present and hopefully future. Great forum you folks have here! I'm glad to have found it.

I forgot to mention that I'm in the Poconos in PA. And I've discovered that one of the site's sponsors sells barrel wrenches for the .22, so they will be getting an order from me soon.

Welcome. I had 2 years of school and one year of work in Wilkes-Barre. It convinced me to never see snow again. That was 1968 to 71. I actually had a 2 week skiing trip in 1982 but only because it was all expenses paid. PA seems to have quite a few Dan Wessons hanging around.
