I just bought my first DW and my first .44! It's a Model 744 with a 6" VH. Yes...I'm extremely excited!!!

I'd like to thank the contributors for making a great site from which to draw info on such unique and relatively unknown firearm.Â

Welcome to the forum, always great to gain an enthusiastic new member, and a 744 is an awesome Dan to own. Lots of great info here, if you run into questions ask away, and we also like cool-pics

Welcome to DWF! You have a couple of VA neighbors here, I'm sure they will be along with their greetings as well.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Sunny, but cold. In the 40s. Hurricane Sandy was uneventful on this part of the east coast.
