Hello all.
My search for the new DW 715 started when I was cruising Facebook and there was a post by CZ advertising their new revolver. I fell into an instant "gotta have".
It took me a couple of months and many phone calls / emails but I got my hands on one at the beginning of April. I have to say this pistol rocks!!!!
Even my wife likes it - she picked it up at the range and would not give it back. Since she was armed I let her keep it a while. 
When I finally got my turn I could not believe how smooth the action was. I have a 30+ year old with many rounds shot S & W 66 that isn't as smooth.
Now I just need to change out the front sight. Black sights on targets just don't work well with my old eyes. I see that EWK is the go to place.
Pretty bad cell phone pic on the day I put it in jail. That was a long 10 days.
I'm sure I'll have many questions,

My first ever shooting experience was with a friend that was an LEO in a small northern Michigan PD, with his duty gun, a Model 66. Someday I'd like to find a decently priced 4" 66. I would be very willing to have this be my only non-DW revolver.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Glad your here. I share the vision problem. Finally got lenses in my glasses good for computer distance, 36". It makes a big difference. Now I need to shoot about 50,000 rds. to get better. Wish I had started young instead of at 62.
