My name is Mike and I am the very proud owner of a new DW CBOB. It has quickly become my favorite pistol and I thoroughly enjoy shooting it. I look forward to the information I receive on this forum and appreciate all it's members. Living in California and being a shooter and gun collector is difficult, but the forum allows me to communicate with other folks who share the passion. Thank you.

You're right about firearms and CA. I just moved back to CA. from Oregon this week. and the contrast between here and there is like being in a foreign country.
Enjoy the forum, there are several knowledgeable people here that won't make you feel stupid for asking questions.

Welcome Mike. Just what we needed here, another Mike. 
My son lives in CA, and I don't find it too bad. Visited him 2 months ago and we spent an entire day at an outdoor range and really enjoyed ourselves.
Just be glad you don't live in IL.
BTW, our Dan's are so much better than our custom shop Kimber's, it's astounding.
