Hey guys, I'm a new owner for a 715 pistol pack.  I've owned a Discretion for about a year or two and have loved it.  As soon as I discovered Dan Wesson made a revolver, I knew I had to have it.  Earlier this year I saw a new 715 pistol pack in stock for the first time in months and bought it.  My Discretion (a blem) was perfect from day one but my 715 has had a few issues unfortunately.  The strut plunger appears to be sticking in the hammer occasionally and causing the trigger to jam on double action trigger pulls.  I've also noticed a few blemishes on two of my barrel shrouds which was really disappointing to see.

I'll be calling Dan Wesson this week about the issues but am hoping to avoid shipping the whole revolver back.  I bought two replacement plungers in hopes that one will work better for me.  I've already bought and replaced a few springs in hopes I just had a bad spring somewhere.  Thanks to you guys for the content on this site.  They were invaluable the past week while I worked on trying to figure out what was going on w/ my 715.

Very unusual. It may be the hole in the hammer for the strut plunger needs reaming. A new hammer may solve it or a  round file if you can find one to fit. Drexel bit?

Thanks guys. I was able to find a new plunger and that cleared up the issue. Now I just need to find some target grips.
