I'm a new member and have owned a Dan Wesson 44 Mag revolver for about ten years it has a non interchangeable 6″ barrel with a full barrel lug. I was told it was designed to be a target pistol when I purchased it new even thought it was old stock. Its stainless steel

, the fixed barrel guns are pretty cool. I know there are a couple others on the forum with one or two of them but they're not that common. Is it blued or stainless? We will be needing pics fairly soon. Welcome again hope you enjoy the forum.

As Superdan stated, the fixed barrels are fairly uncommon in the DW lineup & to me, that makes them more interesting & unique. I've got a pair of .357's myself, and hope to be able to get some .44's later on.

The FB guns seem to be fairly rare. However, you'll soon acquire a taste for the interchangeable barrel guns, and then DWAS will set in and that will guarantee a trip to the poor-house.
