OfflineHappy New Year to all.
I am new here but not to shooting or Dan Wessons. The first pistole I bought when I turned 21 was a 15-2 6" vent barrel. That was 28 (29 in 8 day) years agoe. I have a several other hand guns but this Dan Wesson is my favorite. My wife, daughter, son and several friends learned to shoot with her. I was a Wesson fan when I read about them sometime in the 1970's.
I had a 44 pistol pack that I had to sell when money got tight. I am always looking for one at the gun shows or in shops localy.
I am left handed and the cylender latch at the front is more user friendly than other set ups.
Are ther any members from the St. Louis area on the form?
Talk to you soon Ralph
P.S. Spelling and grammer are not my strong points but I never cared for them anyway. ÂÂ

OfflineRalph, Welcome to DWF. Interesting point on the cylinder latch, I learned to shoot on a 15-2, and the only revolvers I have ever (mostly) owned are DW's. I am a righty, but tilting the grip down and dumping the brass left handed while I get a reload ready with the right hand is the only way I know, anything else seems pretty cumbersome to me.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
