I'm usually a long range rifle guy but my 13yo son really wanted a revolver to add to the P22 we own. Found our beautiful Dan Wesson .357 Magnum at Cabela's ($360) and was impressed with the quality and hands down this is the best revolver I have ever owned. Though it was used it is in better shape than most new guns I had been looking at. I had hear that they were nice guns but had never been exposed to one. I joined the forum to help us learn more about the gun and to share in the joy of ownership of this fantastic work of art. I don't even know what model it is (thinking 14-2) but the serial # is 259570 and will be fun learning more. Dave and Nick are proud owners of a Dan Wesson!

Welcome to the Forum, a nice looking 1979 vintage.
My first DW (actually my first gun) was the same, 15-2 6" standard shroud.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
