Howdy all,

I'm the new guy on the block.

Just wanted to get some info : I've got a model 732 (32 Mag) with 4" & 6" barrels, and I was wondering if this is a rare model.

I was thinking of having a gunsmith ream the cylinder to the new .327 Fed Mag, but I don't want to damage a gun that may be rare.

Also, I was wondering if a 2" or 8" barrel would be available.

I appreciate any help.

these are few and far between, my thought would be to keep as is, as for the other barrels they will be hard to come by. As for value it all depends on condition, and acessories such as tools grips matching box and papers. post-picswe all like pictures and stories. ( the james stewart type) lol. good luck and I'm sure  some one will make you a good quote on value. I would place it anywhere from $400 to as much as $800 depending on accessories and condition. If it is for sale let me know.slap

This is a rare gun I would not do anything to it, I would think it's value would be in the 750.00-1000.00 range with the right bidders on Gunbroker.

Barrels are hard to find, a 6in.stainless barrel assembly recently sold on Gunbroker for 255.50

If it was me I would be keeping it as is.

You have a nice rare DW!

Welcome to the DWF. I agree with the guys. I would hate to see such a hard to come by model altered. Of course it is yours to do as you please. Once DW gets back on line after the first of the year you might be able to get a replacement cylinder to make your 327 conversion, although if Kieth can build you one I doubt it would be cheap. Whatever you decide, hang around and we really love pictures.

Hi guys, well you asked for a picture and here it is. The only problem is I think it's oversized & I don't know how to resize it.

There are 5 grips the one, on the left is a SILE grip that I modified by stippling the grip.

There is a D-Square scope base.

I have a Millet front & rear sight mounted, but I also have the original sights (bottom right) and I've got the "white outline" replacement for the rear sight (original Dan Wesson).

The frame is marked "Monson, MASS" & the serial # : "32M S0011xx"

The shrouds are marked "32MAG CTG"

Thanks for you help.

I'll join the other guys in the hope that you will leave that unmolested. Barrels are very infrequently available, and and sell pretty quickly. You have a lot of extra goodies there too.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

As LB stated, you may be able to have Keith at DW make you a new cylinder, that would be the best way to go.

That's a great looking 732 you have there, thanks for showing it off.drool

That is a real nice setup you have there.  There's some good stuff in that pile...grippers, zebras, Millett, Sile, B-Square.....not to mention the 732!!!!

nice looking mini  pac you have!  Yes leave it as is.  Know too that small frame shrouds will work on different small frame Dan's.  I think 32-20 barrels will work in these also.

This is one that is on my short list!   Thanks for shareing!

Yep, a real nice gun; Welcome and Happy New Year.  Glad to see you've decided to keep it as is!

Best Regards,

Ron
