ONLY ONE LOOTER!

Ralphie, my cat, tried to steal my bologna! He went unpunished.

All clear here, no damage to house, property-never lost power. I think our community is the only area in the county with power. No traffic lights, all our friends outside our community are without power. We mush be on the same grid as Sebastian PD.
Those small bumps west saved our bacon, I don't think we even hit a CAT 1. Sure there's
lots of trees-street signs-and a couple of boast that sunk, but overall, not bad. Most of the populous here are without power and were told they should be up by the end of the weekend.
Thanks all for your kind words and silent prayers. I believe they worked.
Nine days of stress is plenty.
Forgot to mention that I DO NOT watch any news or weather channels.EVER! I have been following this guy for years and he's no hype. Book mark him.

Let's see if we make it through  the rest of the season with out another storm.
Cheers.
George

It seems our friends in Texas and Florida are save but still challenged by the aftermath. Some one asked for a badge or ribbon. a little humor in the tough timessurvive.JPGImage Enlarger

We lost power Sunday night at 9:20pm and got it back Tuesday at 5:15pm, which is fantastic. Internet, cable and phone service just restored 5-minutes ago. still doing clean-up.

Got our power (and cable/internet) back last night, but the AC died. It was old and I planned to replace it this year any way. Living like we did when I was a boy. No AC, but we do have Mosquito Control. I keep telling the anti-growth folks that growth can be stopped. All we have to do is outlaw AC and Mosquito Control. They don't laugh.poke

Snake- eye and I were monitoring it together. I though the storm would go east. Then I thought it would go west. My wife says I am a glass half full guy. It then came directly over Snake-eye and I. By the time it hit me it was not even a cat 1 I think. Ocala had limbs down, some trees on roofs and depending where you live some folks still don't have power. I was lucky. We lost power for a day and a half. A generator worked intermittently but we were ably to keep the refrigeration, lights, hotwater and well but not all at the same time. Still cleaning up outside. I put all but my largest bonsai on the ground and I had no damage. As bad as the storm was, Florida was very lucky. Except for the Keys.

Photohause, that picture should go viral. The stuff is inedible. In my local Publix the whole milk was cleaned out and the fat free faux half and half was left.

Glad you made it through OK.  Hope all is back to normal by now.

Back to normal, on the watch.

The good news is that we have our bug out bags made and inventoried for next year.

Thanks again to everyone!
