OfflineNever heard of it. Goes to show I don't know a lot more about DW than I thought I do. Do they have any value?Â

OfflineThanks. That means I'll be hearing from Ole Dog. Every time I say something wrong or stupid, he's usually the first to correct it. lol.Â

I know of them but have none. Mitchell was President of High Standard and sold the rebranded Dan Wesson porkchop models 14-1 and 15-1 as High Standard Sentinel Mk II and III. The dash one is unofficial. The changes that made it dash 1 are the sights, cylinder latch and the longer trigger fall. He started Mitchell Arms and rebranded various firearms to create a product line.Â
I suspect Dan Wesson sold him their inventory of Porkchops to facilitate the introduction of the 14 and 15-2s in late 1974.Â

OfflineI love my Titans. Very rare. They made a 14 & 15 model also they were really a Dan Wesson Palmer fixed barrel model they were sold to Mitchell/High Standard (just as the pork chops were sold to High Standard early 70's and High Standard stamped their name on them. Dan Wesson was happy to get rid of the rest of their pork chop models as they were re-designing the 15-2 was born and so they dumped a lot of the pork chop guns. It's hard to find a model 15 in good condition most of them were sold it seems as model 14's with the matte finish. Most were the service revolver types. I found a model 15 with beautiful shinny condition but they are few and far between. Now back to the 90's those relationships were still around 25 years later so Dan Wesson Palmer again got rid of some fixed barrel guns (they were not selling good either) so Mitchell Titan's were born. They are much more rare though and they shaved the barrel shroud a bit to change the look. They were mostly stainless steel but I did come across a blue one it's a 14 but the bluing is fantastic (Palmer blue) so I have the stainless Mark lll (a model 15 target) and my blue one is a model 14 (has the fixed rear sites like a service revolver. Keep a eye out for them especially the Mark lll as they are truly rare! Check out the funky grips on them, these are the factory grips. Last few pics are of my early Mitchell Arms pork chop check out the finish it's a target model. Sure wish I could find two more shinny finish pork chop barrels to make a PAC out of them!![]()
